We never learn your students' names. This page says what SLP Nest keeps, where, and why.
Your students
- Names, grades, goals, notes, service minutes, attendance and billing details stay on your devices. When they sync between your own devices, they are encrypted with a key that never reaches our server. We store only the locked copy, which we cannot read.
- Our server keeps a random six-character code for each student, the practice target (for example "/s/ at the start of words"), and what happened in practice: correct or not yet, how much help was needed, which practice word, and when.
- Home practice links carry the student's code, never a name. Families do not make an account.
You
- Sign-in is handled by WorkOS. Our server keeps your account ID and email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with WorkOS to sign you in.
- Your recovery code is shown to you once. We store your roster key only locked under that code, and we never see the code. We cannot reset it.
- One cookie keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent data, and we do not show ads.
- We do not use your students' practice to train AI models.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare hosts SLP Nest and its database.
- WorkOS handles sign-in.
